>> to have 90s in the future appeared >> the search for missing oakland woman, sandra cook, authorities say a woman's body has been found in vacaville but officials still have not identified it as the missing woman. this comes after oakland police identified coke's ex-boyfriend of twenty years ago as a person of interest in the case. 56-year-old randy alana and coke were seen together sunday evening. alana is a registered sex offender and was arrested on an unspecified parole violation earlier this week.he was then questioned by police. kron 4 spoke with coke's neighbors who are coming to grips with the fact that this story may not have a happy ending.

so, again, it is coming down to the wire for bart and its contract. just before 11 p-m last night. the sunday night deadline could be pushed back for a governor announced yesterday that he will go to court for a 60- day cooling off ". that bart has." the court order hearing will this will be the first time in about 15 years the san francisco superior court will open its doors on a sunday. san francisco police have arrested one suspect, and are questioning two others in connection to a triple stabbing. one person remains in life- threatening condition and two others are critically injured from the attack. six friday night. in the mission district near the corner of south van ness avenue and twenty third street. the stabbing is not believed to be gang related. shootings in bayview. they happened within five friday night. the shootings were also less than a mile apart. the first victim was injured by shattered glass after a bullet smashed his car window near palou avenue and ingalls street. during the second shooting.a man inside a building was shot in the arm and drove himself to a hospital.

police are looking for two male suspects. san francisco police chief greg suhr is calling for a nationwide gun registry. he made that plea at an american bar association chief suhr supports a strategy to make sure that cleared, checked and responsible but a chairman of a gun rights group, disagreed. saying he supports background checks for gun buyers, but he believes that a list linking gun owners and their weapons is "not necessarily the government's business." a man is facing murder charges in a high-profile case in san jose. 23-year-old johnny lozano faces one count of murder in the apparent drive-by shooting last saturday that killed an innocent bystander. 19-year-old kimberly chico she was riding in a car along east san salvador street in downtown san jose. police are not saying whether the shooting is gang- related, and the file in the case has been sealed. former prosecutor steven clark says that may mean more arrests are coming. ."in this shooting"

an update in that amber county. officials have no confirmed that ethan anderson was in the same house fire that killed his mother. 8-year-old ethan was presumed to be kidnapped along with his sister hannah. his remains were identified on friday. this news comes as the search intensifies for 16- year old hannah anderson. police now say she may have been spotted with her suspected kidnapper - james dimaggio - in rural idaho. a horeseback rider apparently spotted them wednesday. that tip led to a search of the remote wilderness area near boise. the horeseback rider saw. investigators in idaho have set up checkpoints where dimaggio and hannah anderson were believed to be traveling.

dimaggio is accused of killing hannah anderson's mother - and her younger brother. detectives are looking into comments from hannah's friends that 40-year-old dimaggio may have had a crush on the teen girl. we will be back after the break on kron 4 news weekend.

residents are still picking up the pieces -- following this week's heavy rain and flash flooding in nashville. in one spot, dozens of people were trapped in their homes and had to be rescued. flood waters reached more than three feet high. many residents were forced to their roof tops to avoid the water.

several people lost their homes, others lost their cars and other belongings. some residents explain what to them is the worst part of the flood. ".still need help." this isn't the first time residents in nashville have battled high floodwaters. a historic flood inundated the "music city" in may 2010. and mud slides injured three people in colorado. the flooding was triggered by heavy rain in the area. the harsh conditions closed one highway.stranding vehicles in the fast-moving water friday. at least one home was also swept away. firefighters also rescued one man from a creek. wildfires last year may be to blame for the mudslides.

in about 15 years the san francisco superior court will open its doors on a sunday. the search for missing oakland woman sandra coke has been centered in several east bay cities. kron-4's charles clifford shows us unfolded. this is an overhead google earth view of north oakland. sandra coke lived here along aileen street. she was last seen around 830pm sunday. on monday her car was found two miles away on 32nd street. her cell phone was found 9 miles north in richmond. late thursday evening and early friday morning search teams scoured the area in and around lake chabot. this is near the intersection of highway 37 and interstate discovery kingdom. oakland police department and the solano county sheriff's department shifted the search effort from here in vallejo to lagoon valley park in vacaville..this is about 19 miles to the north along interstate 80.
